June 04, (THEWILL) – David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has revealed that his journey into the music industry started when he was 17 years old.
The music act made this known in an interview with popular Youtuber, Tayo Aina.
The David Music Worldwide boss added that he was a baby when he launched into limelight in the industry with ‘Back When’, one of his hit songs.
He further revealed that he started going everywhere, showing what he could do, with his main strong point as an engineer, who could produce beats.
However, his cousin, Special, who used to work with Michael Ajereh’s former music label, MoHits, introduced him to Don Jazzy.
He added that the first day he saw Don Jazzy, he thought he was looking at Jesus and the record label owner later became his mentor.
