October 12, (THEWILL) – The lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah, has dumped the Young Progressives Party (YPP), for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
THEWILL reports that Ubah was the only member of the YPP in the 10th Senate before his defection to the APC on Thursday.
His defection was announced in a letter read at plenary on Thursday, by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Ubah said his defection was due to irreconcilable differences in the YPP, adding that his decision is in the interest of his constituents
