July 20, (THEWILL) – Senegalese-American singer, Aliaune Akon Thiam, popularly known as Akon, has revealed his preference between two of his younger Nigerian colleagues, David Adeleke, aka Davido and Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy.
The singer indicated that he will pick Davido over Burna Boy because of Davido’s talent.
He made this known on the Drink Champs podcast co-hosted by American singer, Victor James Santiago, also known as N.O.R.E and Eric Narciandi, otherwise known as DJ EFN.
When N.O.R.E asked; “Davido or Burna Boy?” The singer said, ”Uh! I’ll probably go with Davido”
Akon described Davido as a musical beast, one who’s been given less accolades than he deserved.
“Oh, David! That kid right there is a beast. He’s the beast!! He’s another one I think that deserves more flowers than he has received,” he stated.
