January 07, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim, has stated that she is a victim of domestic violence.
She made this revelation on Saturday after demanding that her fans ask her questions on Instagram.
A fan had asked to know her opinion on domestic violence if it is advisable to stay in such a relationship while praying for a change or to leave the relationship.
While responding to the question, the actress made it known that she was a victim of domestic violence and that it is advisable to walk away from such a relationship.
“Walk the hell away girl. I have been a victim myself, no staying. I fought my way out of the situation and one has to be strategic about it as well.
“And have someone you can trust on the outside to inform and you both plan your escape and exit before it’s too late”, she wrote.
This is not the first time the actress would open up about her past relationships. She granted an interview, where she stated that she was raped by her ex-boyfriend.
She also wrote a book ‘Toast to Life’ in 2019, where she narrated how she was molested when she was a child.
