May 31, (THEWILL) – Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has been elected chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum.
Also, the newly inaugurated governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, emerged as the vice-chairman of the forum.
They were elected during Wednesday’s Progressive Governors’ meeting at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Oguwike Nwachuku, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Uzodinma, said the choice of his Principal for the position was a source of pride to his APC Governor-Colleagues, who attested to his capacity to lead them.
“Governor Uzodimma’s latest responsibility came barely three days ago, he was conferred with the honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the former President, Muhammadu Buhari and another honour, last weekend, by the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike”, he said.
