May 06, (THEWILL) –Â In what appears to be a changer and could alter calculations in the race for the Nigerian presidency, one of the groups urging the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Ifeanyichukwu Emefiele, to join the presidential race has obtained the presidential forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for him, THEWILL can authoritatively report.
According to sources close to the development, Emefiele, the methodical central banker, is giving the presidential race a very serious consideration and could officially join race.
Authoritative sources confirmed to THEWILL that the forms were procured on Friday by the ESG.
The Director of Communications of the Emefiele Support Group, Benigna Ejimba, had at a recent press conference stated that the target of the group was to raise the sum of N100million which it projected will be enough to purchase the forms when the All Progressive Congress (APC) fixed the price for their presidential nomination form.
She said the group received donations from members of young professionals and other concerned groups.
