April 18, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has resumed the collation of results for the supplementary gubernatorial election, which was held in Adamawa state on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
The ongoing collation, presided over by Festus Okoye, INEC’s National Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, is holding amid tight security at the Commission’s office in Yola, the Adamawa state capital.
In a short statement on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, the commission disclosed that the collation of results will resume shortly.
“The collation process shall resume at a time to be determined by the Returning Officer”, the Commission said.
