June 26, (THEWILL) – Esegine Allen, also known as Orezi, has stated why many artistes find it hard to handle fame.
According to the singer, artistes find it hard to cope with fame because of it’s intoxicating nature.
He made this known while speaking with Sunday Scoop. He said, “It is not only young artistes that cannot handle fame. It happens to a lot of old artistes too. It takes a lot of maturity to handle because it is intoxicating.”
He also made it known that losing his voice while performing was the most embarrassing moment on stage.
“My most embarrassing moment on stage was at one of Olamide’s concert at Eko Hotel and Suit, Victoria Island. When I got to the high pitch part of the song I was singing, the sound went off and I was left alone with my vocal. I lost my voice and I sounded really terrible. I got off stage feeling really terribly bad, but luckily for me, it seems it was only few people who noticed it.”
