SAN FRANCISCO, October 10, (THEWILL) – The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede has won his Igbogin/Isikan Ward 2, unit 9, polling 220 votes against 60 recorded by Akeredolu while Ajayi got seven votes.
At home, Agboola Ajayi, the deputy governor and candidate of the Zenith Labour party, won his Apoi Ward II polling unit.
According to the result pasted at the unit by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Agboola won the Apoi Ward II, Unit 004, Idumado Quarters, Kiribo with a wide margin of 395 votes.
Also, the former governor of Ondo state and national leader of Zenith Labour party, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has won in his unit. Mimiko”s ZLP polled 81, in his Unit 20 ward 7, Ondo West council area of the state.
The APC scored 19 votes while the PDP scored 31 votes.
