September 20, (THEWILL) – The judgement of the Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal is presently being delivered virtually.
The reading of the judgement at the Miller Road, Kano High Court complex, on Wednesday, is being transmitted via zoom as the Tribunal members are not physically in court.
However, the parties in the case, Lawyers, media professionals and other accredited persons are presently listening to the judgment.
The All Progressives Congress is challenging the electoral victory of Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party as Governor of Kano State as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up within and around the court premises and many other parts of the city.
Abdullahi Yusuf is a seasoned journalist, communicator and was previously the Deputy Editor-In-Chief and Zonal Manager, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Jos, where he retired on December 15, 2021
