
June 01, (THEWILL) – Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved the immediate dissolution of the Kebbi State Executive Council, Boards of Agencies and Parastatals and all political appointees of the immediate past administration.
Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointments of Barrister Attahiru Macido as Chief of Staff to the Governor; Alhaji Yakubu Bala as Secretary to the Government; Aminu Musa Danko as Personal Assistant to the Governor; Aliyu Bandado Argungu as Special Adviser, New Media; and Abu Zaidu Yari as Senior Special Assistant, New Media.
Others are Umar Shehu Baiti, who has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol; Ahmed Idris as Press Secretary to the Governor; and Yahaya Sarki, as Special Adviser On Media and Publicity
A statement signed by Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said the appointments take effect from 29th May, 2023.
“All appointments are based on merit and track records of the appointees,” the statement added.
Governor Idris urged the “appointees to see their appointments as a call to service and to do their best to justify the confidence reposed in them.”
