BEVERLY HILLS, November 22, (THEWILL) – The collation of results of Saturday’s Governorship election in Kogi State started on Sunday at 6.am at the Lokoja headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
The election is a 2-way race between incumbent Governor, Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Abubakar Audu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Exit polls show Audu leading Wada in several parts of the state.
There are 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner is Mr. Haliru Kpai.
