March 12, (THEWILL) – At least 10 persons have been reported killed after gunmen, suspected to be bandits, attacked Unguwar Wakili in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Following the incident, a 24-hour curfew has been imposed on Ungwan Juju, Mabuhu, Ungwan Wakili and Zangon Urban with immediate effect.
Yabo Chris Ephraim, Special Assistant on Media to Chairman of the Zango Kataf LGA, who confirmed the development, said the curfew is to allow men of the Nigerian Army to restore peace on that axis.
“This is to allow men of the Nigerian Army to restore peace on that axis”, he said.
The Police in Kaduna were yet to issue any statement on the incident.
