December 22, (THEWILL) – Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, recently opened up about the profound sorrow he’s grappling with, following the passing of his beloved mother, Dolapo Balogun.
During his ‘More Love Less Ego’ album tour in Europe in August 2023, the singer tragically lost his mother.
In a series of Instagram posts on his story, Wizkid expressed the profound void in his life since his mother’s departure and urged fans to work with God.
He wrote, “idk days after I lost my mum. Life has been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you have to let everything go. Work with God.”
