August 10, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have reportedly shot dead a man in Utah, during a raid on Wednesday morning.
The man, identified as Craig Robertson, according to ABC News, was under investigation for interstate threats against US President Joe Biden.
Spokesperson of the Bureau, who confirmed the incident to KSL, said the FBI agents attempted to enter a home in Provo to serve a warrant.
“The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously,” said the Spokesperson
The investigation began in April, and the Secret Service was alerted in June, FBI officials told ABC News, adding that President Biden was briefed on the Utah incident on Wednesday morning.
