SAN FRANCISCO, September 09, (THEWILL) – The faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chaired by Abubakar Kawu Baraje on Monday made public a list containing the names of members of the its National Working Committee (NWC).
The announcement is coming despite the controversial lockdown of its National Secretariat by the Nigerian Police.
A statement signed by National Secretary, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, said the election of the new officers was ratified by the stakeholders of the faction after a meeting in Abuja.
The NWC members are Alhaji Abubakar Baraje (Chairman); Dr. Sam Sam Jaja (Deputy National Chairman); Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola (National Secretary); Hon. Maode Umar Hiliya (Deputy National Secretary); Mr. Timi Frank (National Youth Leader); Hon. Binta Koje (National Woman Leader); Mallam Nasir Issa (National Organising Secretary); Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze (National Publicity Secretary); Hon. Wadada (National Financial Secretary) and Mallam Tanko Isiaku Gamma (National treasurer).
The faction said the positions of National Auditor and National Legal Adviser which are zoned to the South East and South West respectively, will be announced soon.
