Market breadth finished positive, with 32 gainers against 24 losers, signalling cautious but supportive sentiment among investors.

TOP LOSERS FOR THE SESSION

BERGER -9.95 percent (₦75.90 to ₦68.35).

ACADEMY -9.71 percent (₦8.75 to ₦7.90).

CAVERTON -5.98 percent (₦5.85 to ₦5.50).

CAP -3.81 percent (₦99.80 to ₦96.00).

Meanwhile, Dangote Cement, Lafarge Africa, Custodian Investment, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Golden Guinea Brewery, amongst others, closed flat for the day, indicating limited price movement in some heavyweight counters.

Investor sentiment remained mildly optimistic, supported by bargain hunting in selected stocks despite pockets of profit-taking. Market participants are likely to maintain a cautious trading stance in the next session, with movements expected to be driven by stock-specific demand and positioning in fundamentally strong counters.
