BEVERLY HILLS, September 25, (THEWILL) – Nigeria has put its official coronavirus cases at 58, 086 with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reporting 213 new cases across 17 states on Friday.
The infectious disease agency also put total recoveries from the pandemic at 49, 606 with 1 new fatality to bring that tally to 1,103.
Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, and Plateau State jointly topped with 51 new infections, while the FCT posted 29. Rivers State 18, Ondo 12, Oyo 9 and Osun 8. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC says it has tested 499, 910 samples as at September 24, 2020.
