April 11, (THEWILL) – The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to rededicate themselves to prayers to enable the nation to move forward.

According to Abubakar, only strong prayers, commitment and political courage on the part of the nation’s leaders can salvage the country.

Abubakar, who represents Bichi Federal Constituency in Kano State, therefore, urged Nigerians to have strong faith in God, saying that with prayers, things will surely get better.

He felicitated with his constituents and other Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of the EId-el-Kabir.

He urged the Muslim Ummah to uphold the virtues of Ramadan, which he said would surely help in tackling the challenges facing the nation.

“I equally urge them to use this festive period to pray for the progress of our great nation. Nigeria is indeed in need of our collective prayers at this critical time,” the lawmaker added.
