BEVERLY HILLS, September 18, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s official coronavirus cases Friday scaled up to 56, 956 after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 221 new cases across 18 States.
The NCDC put total recoveries at 48, 305 with 1, 094 deaths after it reported 1 new death.
Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recorded the highest number on Friday with 59 new cases.
Abia reported 46, the FCT 22, Gombe 20 and Plateau recorded 17. See below for a full breakdown.
