BEVERLY HILLS, September 22, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s coronavirus cases on Tuesday climbed to 57, 613 with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, officially reporting 176 new infections across 14 states.
The infectious disease agency also put total recoveries at 48, 836 with death toll holding at 1, 100 since no new death occurred.
Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recorded 73 new cases and Plateau state 50. Other states with new cases are: Federal Capital Territory, FCT 17, Rivers State 8, Ondo 6, Niger 5 and Ogun 5. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC says it has tested 484, 051 samples as at September 21, 2020.
