BEVERLY HILLS, September 8, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Tuesday reported 296 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus across 15 states to bring the nationwide tally to 55, 456 with 43, 334 recoveries and 1, 067 deaths (6 new deaths).
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Plateau State recorded 183, Lagos, the State with the highest number of recorded cases posted 33, while the FCT reported 25, Ogun 16 and Oyo reported 7. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 426, 803 samples as at September 7, 2020.
