BEVERLY HILLS, August 27, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Thursday reported 296 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally countrywide to 53, 317 with 40, 726 recoveries and 1011 deaths (1 new death).
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Plateau State led again for the second day in row, adding 85 new cases, while Enugu recorded 46 cases. Oyo posted 31, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, 21, Rivers 20, the FCT 15 and Kaduna 13. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 391, 502 samples as at August 26, 2020.
