BEVERLY HILLS, March 9, (THEWILL) – Honourable Temitope Olatoye, the member representing Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has been shot and killed by unknown gunmen during Saturday governorship and state assembly elections.
Temitope, popularly called Sugar by his supporters was shot in the head and later died at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan where he was transported to for treatment.
THEWILL recalls that Olatoye was defeated in February’s presidential and National Assembly election, where he unsuccessfully ran for a senate seat on the platform of the Action Democratic Party, (ADP).
