February 25, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and his counterpart in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have cast their votes in Saturday’s election.
Obi alongside his wife, Margaret, cast their votes at polling unit 19 in the Agulu area of the Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Obi exercised his franchise at about 11:45 am after following the voting queue for about 30 minutes.
Addressing newsmen after he voted, the former Anambra State Governor said the process was “seamless”.
Meanwhile, the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and his wife, Salamatu, performed their civic right in the polling unit at the Tunda Ward of Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State.
Speaking with newsmen after he voted, Kwankwaso said he is fully confident of winning the 2023 elections.
“Seeing is believing, you can see that here and all over Nigeria, I have won this election, God willing,” Kwankwaso said.
