BEVERLY HILLS, August 26, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s confirmed coronavirus cases Wednesday reached 53, 021 cases after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 221 new cases across 20 states.
With today’s numbers, there are now 40, 281 recoveries with 3 new fatalities to bring the total number of deaths to 1007.
Plateau State topped Wednesday’s new cases with 60 infections while the FCT reported 33. Kaduna posted 26, Rivers 18, Lagos 17 and Enugu 9. See below for a full breakdown.
