SAN FRANCISCO, June 14, (THEWILL) – Today makes it one year since actor Desmond Elliot became a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The honourable took to his Instagram to express his gratitude to God and the good people of Lagos State for the opportunity.
Sharing the picture above of him decked out in traditional Yoruba attire, he wrote: “One year as a lawmaker… Another great opportunity to say ‘Thank you Lord’ for this great opportunity to serve in this great state Lagos, these wonderful people of the state and good people of Surulere. I will never take it for granted, for this is a Privilege and I say Thank you lord over and over again. It hasn’t been easy but IT IS WELL”
He also thanked his party, APC for persevering in their goals to bring back hope, progress and prosperity to Nigeria despite the severe economic challenges.
