December 27, (THEWILL) – The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has debunked reports that its President General, Professor George Obiozor, is dead.
The rebuttal followed reports by some Media outlets (not THEWILL), that the 80-year-old retired diplomat had died on Tuesday.
Reacting to the report, the National Publicity Secretary of the group, Dr Alex Ogbonnia, said Obiozor is very much alive.
Also, the group’s Vice President General, Dr Kingsley Dozie, dismissed the rumour as unfounded. He advised people against fake news.
