
February 16, (THEWILL) – The Deputy State Chairman, Engine Lubricant Dealers Branch of NUPENG, Delta State, Chief Dennis Okiemute Eneberi, has expressed optimism that the newly appointed Rector, Dr Duke Okoro, will use his knowledge and wealth of experience to build solid foundation for the new Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
Eneberi, in a chat with our correspondent on Wednesday, in Warri, also congratulated the Rector, Okoro, on his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I am a Community leader in Erhioke, Kokori, Ethiope East local government area of Delta State. Having read the profile of Dr Duke Okoro, Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, I urge him to use his wealth of experience and knowledge to build a solid academic and moral foundation for the polytechnic.”
The unionist commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly for honouring Delta State, Ughelli North Local Government and Orogun people with the establishment of the Federal polytechnic.
The community leader said, “Let me also commend our superlative Senator and Deputy President of the Senate, OVIE OMO AGEGE, who deemed it fit to request for the School and follow up all the processes, which led to passing of bill by the Green and the red Chambers of the National Assembly and subsequently the assent to the bill by President Muhammadu Bubari.”
According to him, President Buhari has done well by appointing the Rector and other senior management staff of the institution.
“With this, it shows is that Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari, want the newly established Federal Polytechnic in Orogun, to kick off and be of good standing before he leaves office.”
Eneberi noted that Omo-Agege’s achievements as senator representing Delta central is quite commendable, adding that God willing, if Omo-Agege becomes the next Governor of Delta State, he will touch all parts of the state
