August 20, (THEWILL) – Eminent Nigerians and other dignitaries on Friday joined President Muhammadu Buhari at Bichi, Kano State, to attend the solemnisation of holy matrimony of his son, Yusuf and Zahra, daughter of Nasiru Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi.
Among those at the ceremony were: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Niger President, Mahamadou Isoufou, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, governors, among others.
Buhari had earlier dispatched a high-level delegation for the wedding led by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
Those in the delegation, THEWILL had reported, included: Minister of Defence, retired Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi; Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono; Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika; Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Hussein Adamu as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu.
