BEVERLY HILLS, March 24, (THEWILL) – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is self-isolating after the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari and at least three aides tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
Osinbajo’s spokesman, Olaolu Akande shared the information via a tweet, saying the politician is working from home and self-isolating.
Mr. Kyari is believed to have contracted the virus during his one-week-long official trip to Germany where he met with officials of Siemens. He did not self-isolate for 14 days on his return on March 14, 2020 as required by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC. Instead, he held multiple meetings with top officials of government and also attended social functions until last weekend when he started coughing and showing symptoms.
