BEVERLY HILLS, June 18, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its governorship primary in Edo State hours after Governor Godwin Obaseki joined the party in a bid to fulfill his reaction bid.
Kola Ologbodiyan, the PDP spokesman, in a tweet, said the primary will now take place on June 23, 2020 instead of June 22, 2020 as previously scheduled.
Obaseki formally joined the PDP today after his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC, following his disqualification from the party’s governorship primary due to his protracted fight with now suspended national chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
