August 17, (THEWILL) –Â The police in Bayelsa State, following a tip-off and in collaboration with operatives and members of the vigilante of Otuasega Community, have arrested a notorious cultist and recovered a locally made pistol from him.
He was nabbed at Otuasega Community, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
The suspect, Justice Egbo, 20, a notorious member of the dreaded Bobos cult group, was arrested on 17th August 2021 in the morning at Otuasega.
He was said to have confessed to being a member of the Bobos cult group and he is assisting the police with vital information on other members.
The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Echeng E. Echeng, has ordered for discreet Investigation and upon conclusion, the case will be charged to court.
SP Asinim Butswat, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed this in a statement he signed.
