April 07, (THEWILL) – The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a den of kidnappers in the Ikorodu area of State.
Spokesperson of the Command, SP Benjamin Hudenyin, who confirmed the incident, said operatives of the Command, acting on intelligence, stormed the den on Thursday night.
However, one of the kidnappers was killed in a shootout, while three abducted victims were rescued in the process.
He said the victims were receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Hudenyin said arms and ammunition were recovered at the scene.
