October 03, (THEWILL) – A pregnant woman and her two children have been killed in an accident involving a commercial tricycle in Ago Palace way, Okota area of Lagos.
Witnesses said the tricycle operator, who also died, was being chased by officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), when he lost control and ran into the woman, who was taking her children to school.
Angered by the incident, residents in the area, set burn fires on the road to protest the action.
They have also demanded immediate arrest of the erring officers.
