According to Top Chart Africa, his album, ‘Rave & Roses (Ultra)’ has impressively amassed over 3.84 billion streams since its release on April 28.
This remarkable achievement not only cements Rema’s standing in the music industry but also elevates his album to the prestigious realm of Gold certification in the United States.
The album now shares this distinction with Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos,’ marking them as the sole Afrobeats project to achieve such recognition.
Notable contenders in the streaming arena include Kizz Daniel’s ‘Maverick’, securing second place with 1.59 billion streams, Omah Lay’s ‘Boy Alone (Deluxe)’, closely following with 1.38 billion streams, and Davido’s ‘Timeless’ amassing 1.13 billion streams.
