May 20, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, aunt of actor Yul Edochie, has stated that her nephew and his first wife, May are not divorced.
The actress took to her Instagram page on Saturday, to make this known.
Rumour has been rife that Yul and his first wife, May had given up on their marriage.
Trouble started in the union after Yul took a second wife. The actor had, in 2022, announced that he welcomed a son with his second wife, Judy Austin.
Things further got complicated when the embattled couple lost one of their sons, Kambilichukwu, a few weeks ago.

Taking to her Instagram page, Rita set the record straight and thanked May’s fans for the love shown to her.
“No divorce between Queen May Yul Edochie and her husband, Yul Edochie.
“My great people in the world, Queen May Yul Edochie believes that any spell casted on the husband of her youth will surely expire someday.
“She will speak up after mourning her late son, Kambili. I still thank you all for the passionate love for our family and most especially, the only verified and known wife of Yul Edochie, Queen May Yul Edochie.
“I am convinced that those calling for her divorce are either not married or are from a broken home,” she wrote.
