
May 29, (THEWILL) – Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, on Monday, at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, took oaths of office to begin a second term of four years respectively.
The Governor took his oath of office administered by the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Kazeem Alogba, at exactly 11:41am, while the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, earlier took his oath of office at 11:32am.
In his inaugural speech after the swearing-in ceremony, Sanwo-Olu assured Lagosians of a brighter rewarding future.
The Governor assured Lagosians that he will do his best to remain worthy of the mandate of the people of the state.
