SGF: Omale Hails Tinubu, Congratulates Akume On Appointment

June 03, (THEWILL) – Former Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue, Barr Omale Omale, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the appointment of Senator George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

In a congratulatory statement signed on Saturday, in Makurdi, Barr. Omale described the appointment as well deserved.

“It is a reward for your doggedness, loyalty, political sagacity and consistency over the years. I strongly believe that you will not fail on this national assignment too. Your appointment is an opportunity to serve the people of Nigeria and support Mr. President to take them to the Promised Land,” he said.

The statement added that Senator Akume has climbed mountains, scaled through hurdles, overcome betrayals and surmounted challenges capable of crushing lesser minds over the years for his people, which today, has earned yet another reward for his service.

According to the legal practitioner, he believes in Akume’s ability and knows that he will help President Tinubu to unite the nation.

“With your appointment, I am highly persuaded that President Tinubu will keep to his promise to treat all Nigerian citizens equally irrespective of party affiliation, tribe or religion,” he said.

The APC chieftain said he is looking forward to the manifestation of Akume’s exemplary leadership qualities in his new appointment and is proud to have him as a patriotic political icon.

He commended President Tinubu for finding one of their own worthy for the assignment, pointing out that history has shown that Senator Akume is the first SGF to have come from North Central Nigeria.

He prayed to Almighty God to grant him wisdom, strength of mind and body, good health as well as the necessary impulse to discharge duties creditably.
