
January 04, (THEWILL) – Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, on Saturday, graced the wedding Fatiha of Kano APC Chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas’ sons.
Both Kashim Shettima and Barau Jibrin played prominent roles at the wedding Fatiha which was held at the Alfurqan Jumma’at Mosque, Kano.
The event was attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including the Minister of Agriculture, Abubakar Kyari, former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, and Chairman, House Committee on Downstream Petroleum, Alasan Ado Alhassan.
Also present at the event were prominent politicians, business leaders and traditional rulers.
Abbas Abdullahi Abbas, the son of the APC chairman, tied the nuptial knot with Arch Khadija Attahiru Buhari, while his brother, Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas, wedded Zulaihat Nasir.
Both brides received a dowry of N500,000 each. The wedding Fatiha was conducted by Prof. Aliyu Omar, the Chief Imam of the Alfurqan Jumma’at Mosque.
Vice President Shettima represented the two grooms, Abbas Abdullahi Abbas and Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas, while Senator Jibrin stood in for the two brides, Arch Khadija Attahiru Buhari and Zulaihat Nasir.
The APC chairman expressed gratitude to Vice President Shettima, Senator Jibrin, and others for attending.
He praised their presence, stating that it demonstrated their commitment to the values of unity, solidarity, and family.
