I think being a mum is the most important thing I’ve done with my life. It’s the most spiritual. I say to my friends that I’d rather be a failed artist than a failed mum. I think that if you choose to do it— this is why I think no one should be forced or coerced into having children because it’s a big responsibility and while people ask for kids, kids don’t ask to be born.
