November 05, (THEWILL) – SmallGiant, an international advertising company, has provided free learning materials for no fewer than 200 pupils of Premier Nursery and Primary School in Sokoto State.
Items distributed to the pupils include exercise Books, Board Markers, Pens, Pencils, School bags with SmallGiant logo, Sharpeners, Erasers, Socks, Drinks, biscuits and Sweets.
The gesture, according to the company’s Local Advertising manager in the state, Mrs Adebunki Ronke Fashola, said it is part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to support the less privileged in society.
She said the donation is part of SmallGiant’s ‘widow mites’ for the less privileged groups, especially the children in the society.
“The company cares much for children, widows and orphans in society and this is the reflection of that. We see these children as the most vulnerable in society and feel it is good to extend this gesture to them.”
Giving the background of the company, Mrs Fashola also said the organisation was founded in 2019 by founder Alramic and creative director Chris Williams.
“And their mission is to make an inevitable impact on some of the world’s most powerful brands, changes in the way consumers interact with brands.” She explained.
Mrs Fashola also noted that the company’s ultimate goal is to support employees to invest in a variety of industries, thereby creating more jobs, benefiting more Nigerians, and contributing to Nigeria’s development. “This is also our goal in Nigeria today.”
Also speaking, Mr Adewale Mansur Adegoke applauded the organisation for their support to humanity.
He urged the public to log into the company’s website in order to avail themselves of the range of products and services offered by the company, saying “There are lots of benefits from the organisation.”
Mr Adewale also encouraged individual and corporate organisations to emulate SmailGiant by contributing to the issue of humanity.
In his vote of thanks, the Vice Principal of the school, Mr Ibrahim Qassim, expressed appreciation to the organisers for choosing the pupils for the gesture.
