“By the special grace of Almighty Allah, we pledge to work tirelessly, retain our mandate, deliver on our promises, and ensure the party does not falter”, he stated.

The congress was conducted under the supervision of officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with Professor Muftaz Aliyu Musa presiding over the exercise and announcing the newly elected executives.

In his remarks, the outgoing State Chairman, Hon. Isa Sadiq Achida, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful transition and commended party members for maintaining unity throughout the process.

Achida also praised former Governor and current Senator, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, for his role in strengthening the party’s structure in the state and supporting the emergence of a governor committed to fulfilling campaign promises.

According to him, the visible development strides recorded across Sokoto State reflect effective leadership and adherence to the party’s agenda.

Other party leaders described the congress as orderly and transparent, expressing optimism that the new executives would consolidate unity within the party and reposition the APC ahead of future political activities in the state.
