November 30, (THEWILL) — The District Head of Gagi in the Sokoto North Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Alhaji Sani Umar Jabbi, has urged Nigerian youths to actively participate in sports to tackle terrorism, idleness, and other social vices.
Alhaji Jabbi made the call during the closing ceremony of the inter-professional associations five-a-side football competition organised by the Sokoto Professionals Network at the Abdullahi Shehu Sports Arena in Sokoto.

He noted that the organisation has lined up several sporting programmes aimed at enhancing the physical fitness and overall well-being of youths.
The final match of the tournament was contested between the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch, and the Sokoto Professionals team, with the latter emerging victorious.
The NBA team finished second among the eight professional groups that took part in the competition.
