BEVERLY HILLS, April 23, (THEWILL) – The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, has announced that Ramadan fast begins on Friday, 24th April, 2020, saying the new moon has been sighted.
The Sultan Thursday also reminded Muslims of the coronavirus pandemic and directed them to avoid large gatherings and maintain physical distancing throughout the period.
Ramadan, also know as the Holy Month in Islamic faith, is the period when the faithful observe fasting and prayers.
