December 18, (THEWILL) – The Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s dedication to improving road infrastructures across the country.
The Minister stated this on Wednesday while taking a stopover to interact with the engineers handling the ongoing construction and dualization of the Sokoto-Funtua-Zaria road in Zamfara State
Goronyo emphasised that the president is making significant efforts to address the country’s various economics.
He, however, expressed confidence that the strategic measures being implemented by the federal government would soon yield the desired results, including the alleviation of hunger.
“His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a technocratic and visionary leader. He is making significant efforts to address the country’s various economic and infrastructural challenges.” Goronyo said.
He expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far on the ongoing construction, a project initiated by the Ministry of Work.
He noted that the construction and dualization of the road, which is under the supervision of the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, is carried out using rigid pavement technology, which will last over a hundred years.
He further lauded the minister for initiating this technology, which he says is a new innovation in the construction industry in the country.
Earlier, the Minister commissioned the general rehabilitation and maintenance of the Sokoto-Talata Mafara-Gusua road project.
