
January 12, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to former President Goodluck Jonathan over the death of his elder sister, Madam Obebhatein Jonathan.
Madam Obebhatein, fondly called Amissi, a teacher, businesswoman, loving mother and grandmother who lived a dedicated life of service to God and humanity, died on Thursday, at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, after a brief illness. She was seventy.
The President, in a condolence message issued through Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, urged Jonathan to take solace in the legacy of Amissi, who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.
President Tinubu prayed for the repose of the soul of Madam Obebhatein and comfort for all those who mourn her painful loss.
