Tinubu Holds First Meeting With Security Chiefs

June 01, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, met with the service chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It is the first engagement of the President with heads of security and intelligence agencies since his inauguration on Monday, May 29.

Those in attendance include the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao; and the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.

Others are the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Bichi; and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
