
June 02, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, received in audience a former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori; the former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike and the Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, at the State House, Abuja.
Ibori, who governed Delta between 1999 and 2007 when Tinubu was governor of Lagos, arrived along with Wike and Makinde at Aso Rock Presidential Villa, around 4:25 pm,
They had arrived the presidential villa when the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holding Plc, Herbert Wigwe, was walking out of the President’s office.
Even though they are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), both Makinde and Wike worked for the election of Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as president.
The agenda of the meeting is unknown at the time of filing this report.
