June 04, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with Presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the State House, Abuja.
THEWILL gathered that the meeting, which began at 9pm, also has in attendance the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
Sources privy to the meeting disclosed that the aspirants have arrived the villa for the meeting.
Among those attending the meeting include the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi, among others.
The meeting is expected to centre around how the party stakeholders can arrive at a consensus ahead of the convention slated for June 6 and 8 in Abuja.
Recall the Screening Committee Chairman, Dr John Oyegun, had on Friday said 99% of the aspirant are in support of consensus.
